I know of 7 people who escaped from Quebec, 3 had csq and QSWP in process...5 in final stages of PR. It's a tough decision for those stuck here during pandemic and also in non IT sector where new jobs are comparatively lesser.

Agree. A friends in similar situation as you. No choice unfortunately. My assumption is 32-36 months for most while a few would be decided in 20-27 months just to show that things are moving. Those transferred to MTL are in for a bigger haul, unfortunately. Wait and this too shall pass.

If I understood correctly, according to this news, they prioritize specific occupations. This means that they treat each application differently and process only selected applications leaving behind others in the never ending processing loop. I was wondering who are those lucky professions.
There is another article out saying QC is considering reviewing its immigration policy and accepting more immigrants, even they might change the PEQ.. They might look into raising immigration quotas for PR. Lets see.. This could just be all talk, no action.
