Hey everyone!

back in 2013 I was kicked out of a uni program due to low grades, due to my bf breaking up and my grandma dying, I later got help from a psychologist, got diagnosed with depression and ADHD and fixed myself up. I finished a double degree in 2018 where I got degrees from NZ and Indonesia.

I later did my masters in Aus and have been working in HK for the past year.

I haven’t finished the EE application (I only inserted my Masters in Aus, as that’s the only thing I’m claiming for points, please tell me if I’m doing this wrong), but I heard there is a personal info section on the application, would I have to insert my terrible year of uni and will this really hurt my application?

thanks you all so much :)

Thank you, but I heard that you’ve got to list your activities for the previous 10 years? Or could I just write I didn’t complete and changed courses?
Yes you can, there is no harm in adding these details. IRCC will only look at your highest completed degree and any other for which you claim points.

@legalfalcon these details should be added, right? It won't matter for CRS points but as I understand you do need to completely fill out your personal history, if there are gaps you can't submit the application and if you leave it out it or fill something else in it could be misrepresentation.

In your personal history, you have to declare everything. You can claim points for your highest education, but when it comes to personal history, you have to mention what you were doing without any gaps. For the purpose of immigration, it does not matter where you finished a university program or not.
