January 2019 onwards Paper Based PR Applicants waiting for AOR/MR/PPR

Hi Guys!
This magnificent moment has come. Today I have received my COPR under paper based PNP application!
My timeline is as follows:
AR August 23 2019
AOR September 05 2019 (Sydney office)
RPRF and PCC request August 2020 (request also said that application was tranferred to Etobicoke)
MR December 07 2020
DM January 26 2021
My dependents received passport request on Jan 26 2021. It was stated that this request is valid for 90 days since I will become PR, and they can submit passports only after that moment.
On March 06 2021 I receied email from IRCC officer asking to confirm that I am in Canada.
Online status check made 2 days later showed that I entered IRCC Etobicoke office and had become PR on March 08.
Eventually COPR came into my email box on March 23rd.
My loved ones can submit their passports now and get their visas!

I called cic they said background check is going on but its already been 20 months since i applied the file.
Anybody know something about this ?

Yes. I have 2 dependents outside Canada. Actually they received passport request in January. But there was a note that they cannot submet their passports until I become PR. So now I officialy became PR and they can submit their passports to local VAC and receive their visas and coprs.

I applied in both. But I got my COPR under PNP paper based stream. No success with EE CEC.

I wish you good luck! I was unsuccessful with my EE CEC applications. My dependents were refused twice to join me in Canada. I see now that I was lucky with my PNP paper application processed in just 19 months.

Pray for others also mine 27th month inprocess
Applied couple of times for my spouse and kids but no luck hope they will make decision on all pending file now peoples have been waiting more than 2 years now too see their families

Yes. In August 2020 I have got request for 3 things: pay RPRF, provide police clearance certs, provide an update form with my job history. This was the only request asking for any additional docs. Fortunately I had valid PCCs at that time and uploaded everything in a week.

Just call CIC they have changed their options and clearly saying that due to travel restrictions theybare not finalizing the files lucky people who still getting their PR with outland dependants
