I just got off the phone to IRCC (first time caller) as I was curious about yesterday's ghost update. The lady was super friendly! My file has been transferred to Ottawa from Sydney - medical & criminality is passed. Eligibility has just started, then security is up next. It will be interesting to see if it's all wrapped up by the 27th of April. She said everything looks fine according to the officer's notes so I'll just sit tight and wait for now - at least our October files are moving!

After reading through comments here, I requested for GCMS notes on 7th Mar so don't have those details as most of you.
I am not sure which VO my application was with (I talked to IRCC agent once in Feb'21 and I think he told me Montreal VO but I might have misheard).

All the best folks! If I get any more details then will post an update here
Hope IRCC comes through in clearing up their backlog fast.

Just wanted to post a quick update on my case -

Just got my gcms notes today that I ordered on 2/25. Looks like my file hasn't been touched since the beginning of the year (last updated 01/04):

Also, though my eligibility says passed, this is what shows up later on:

Hello everyone,
First of all congratulations to all of you who got approved or received your COPRs! I'm happy for you as I feel like we belong to the same community.
Today I'm very freaking frustrated as I haven't received any updates from my agent since my biometrics were approved on January.
I'm a CEC AOR Oct 8th and starting to doubt if I will even get my PR before the second half of this year =(
So damn frustrating that updates are little and hard to come by...anyways just got sick of waiting and there's nowhere else where I feel like people
would understand my frustrations. Sorry for the negativity

My aor is october 10. Unfortunately, there is nothing much we can do but wait....I can feel your frustration but if you read september, november thread, files are getting processed, really. So I really think pours will be next. Just wait and keep sharing here.

Thanks I do hope we all get it soon. I see many posts of people saying they have many plans on hold due to the PR situation and I'm on the same boat.
I really really need the PR to come soon so I can start finding other options.

@legalfalcon hi, what s the difference between ready to be assessed and complete, not reviewed?

Which one comes first? Thank you.
Ready to be assessed and not reviewed are the same thing, but will depend in your data is back from the country with which the info sharing was done.

Different countries have different agreements with Canada, and thus different data will be shared.

Called IRCC today and agent told me that Eligibility is now passed. They couldn't confirm recommended or conclusively.
Hoping to see more progress..
Just got off the call with IRCC and my Eligibility is back in progress that means it was Recommended passed earlier. Security still not started.

@legalfalcon

I am a CEC inland applicant and wanted to check with you whether my PR application will be affected in case I leave Canada while it's in progress.

This is what IRCC agent shared with me regarding this:

Leaving Canada during processing - Inside Canada application

We confirm that you may leave Canada while your application is being processed. Upon return, an officer will need to ask you questions to ensure you still meet all requirements before allowing you to re-enter Canada and avoid having your application considered as abandoned due to your absence.

If you leave Canada and want to return, please make sure that you bring all the required documents to re-enter. This can include a valid:

  • Passport or other travel documents,
  • Work permit, study permit or visitor record, if you need one, and
  • Temporary resident visa or Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA), if you need one.
