I think it's unfortunately unlikely you will get any responses to this question here.

Judicial reviews for study permit rejections are extremely rare.

Provided you win at court, the judge will ask the visa officer belonging to the administrative tribunal ( IRCC ) to re review your application which is usually done immediately since its a court order.
yes actually that happened, but 10 days went till now I didn't receive any update from the embassy

Nice, would suggest calling IRCC and enquire with the call centre agent or try sending a web form if you know which visa office is handling your file. Or can ask your lawyer to do the same.

I had applied for judicial review in 2018 and granted appeal in 2019 after 10 months.

Hi I applied from India. Yes the court granted my appeal and sent to Visa office for reconsideration of my application. After that they asked me updated proof of funds, new application forms, ECA, new ielts and new LOA. I could submit any other documents I wanted to. All these took about 1 year and they approved my visa.

why did they ask for an ECA? that's for express entry profile, not study permit.

You had to reapply or was it just another look to the same application?

My application is not a usual study permit case. It was not that simple. It's evaluated again and they can ask anything they want, to determine my eligibility.
I dint reapply it was the same application but reopened again and they asked almost all documents again one by one.

And why ECA? what if someone loses the judicial review what happens then? can that person reapply for study permit? you were settled outside court or court passed the judgement?

Judgement was passed in my case.

Even if someone doesn't get grant from court He can still apply for a new study visa. But approval is less likely unless there is a major change in your profile.

IRCC will have in their record that this guy went to court against their decision, in case the court dismissed the case.
