Same, the frequency maybe less than an hour. Last night, found out the biometrics was refunded on 12/Mar, so felt it was even closer.Also nothing. And I can't even check my account every single hour ( I would if I could) Lol
Agent only has acess to it.
I am in the same situation. Unfortunately I don't think this means much. I have been waiting for three weeks and have not progressed. I think there is a lot of variability from one officer to another. Some people on this forum have reported waiting 2 months from this point to receiving COPR.
I know but i’m already passed everything on January 29 . And today the agent told me the officer finalize your application. I don’t now what that’s mean , But i hope for good news
If they told you "finalized" it means that a decision was taken, but I have no idea how long it will take to receive COPR, if someone knows, please share.
Sadly it’s approaching two months for you in 10 days, which could mean you are really really close. But this is insane. Like the other guy said each step might take 2-3 months. What a joke, just like how they have dealt with the pandemic.
No idea....I don't even know how they operate....My friend (AOR April) has not received any result, but another friend (AOR August) has received COPR. So messed up.... I believe if CIC processes all applications with chronological order, applicants won't be confused like this.

Field Operations Support System (FOSS) was the old system IRCC used to hold immigration records. They transitioned this to the GCMS system in 2012. When your Eligibility is being assessed, IRCC do an Integrated FOSS/GCMS check on you to see all related interactions that may have been had regarding you as an applicant, as well as actions taken with respect to any applications you've made in the past.
If/when you pass Eligibility (and all other stages), an officer will do a final review prior to issuing a COPR/ PR visa/ documentation. It is during this review that they do one more FOSS/GCMS check to ensure you remained eligible throughout the application process, as per the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act
at this point I think it depends by the officer, depends how much he's busy. In addition since Covid, many of us did their Biometris with a lot of delays.. i think they started to work all the applications with bio exempt, that's why many people from august got their Copr and people on april not..
As best as I can tell, IRCC assign a group of applications to different case officers and each case officer roughly processes their own cases in chronological order. However, the different case officers seem to work at very different speeds and this ends up with vastly different COPR dates for applications with the same AOR date. On top of this, even when an application has passed all steps there seems to be an excessive delay between a complete application and an officer sending out COPR.
IRCC should just process all cases chronologically and share the cases between different officers. These kinds of inefficiencies are only found in government organizations and it's sad because all the stakeholders in this process have no interest in speeding up the time for AOR to COPR. IRCC stopped working on all cases between March and August last year. How many desk based jobs are you aware of that completely shut down for 5 months last year? I am aware of ZERO. This is purely a result of government incompetence and inefficiency. Us applicants, who are affected, have no power to influence this. We cannot vote and contacting MPs is futile as this is low on their priority list. Sure, you can say that we are "lucky" that Canada is considering PR for us at all. I don't buy this argument. Every inland CEC applicant is currently working in Canada and paying taxes. We are contributing to the economy and pursuing legal means to settle here. Just because we are not Citizens and not yet PRs doesn't mean we should be taken advantage of and accept a dysfunctional government bureaucracy.
