Did you check your ECAS status? It sometimes updates on ECAS, but there is no physical mail/email.

Not a problem if you haven't got it. It just makes the calculation of timeline better. The In process is a more important milestone.

I had to resubmit my application as it was returned in the last week of January, due to an illegible copy of English proficiency that I had provided before. New application submission upon tracking via Canada Post shows that it reached on February 3rd, 2021.

The averages for IP to test Invite in 2020 (as of Mar. 11, 2021) are:
Jan 2020 212 days
Feb 2020 131 days
Mar 2020 113 days

So I would calculate roughly 5 months based on the average of the above figures.

This is an awesome timeline! This statistic doesn't include Urgent Processing, right?

I couldn't find my original test results back then. So I took a photocopy of a photocopy which I sort of knew might get rejected. But I still took a chance.
Finally, I sent other kinds of documents such as graduation and high school marksheets to prove English proficiency this time around. Fingers crossed!

Same except criminality is done... My guess is they just sent your application to the local office. Have you been asked to provide fingerprints ?

No request so far. I thought that they would send applications to the local office after the background checks completed. Do they just send them sometimes to the local office even before the checks begin?

Yes. Application is sent after your background checks are cleared and passed.

Just check when IP file was generated. Usually you need to request multiple GCMS notes to get actual status of the checks.
