That depends on the date your doc's expire (and whether they are automatically extended or nog)
My medicals had been extended to Feb 28th, 2021 - (they were originally valid until Sep 16th, 2020). So now my extended medicals are in expired state too. So whenever I decide to redo my medicals (either on mandate from IRCC or of my own volition) - it will be valid for one year - correct?

One year from now - I think the whole COVID situation should be under control.

So I think I should start hoping that I get my CoPR sooner rather than later. Am I making sense?

Your new medicals will be valid for 1 year, correct.
So in that way your thoughts do make sense...
But when they (once again) automatically extend your medicals, with lets say 3 months, it might be better when it takes a little more time.

So like I said... It all depends on the decisions/choices IRCC makes

JUST GOT MY COPR! I had to re-read the letter multiple times because my body couldn't believe it was real hahaha! If you are in Inland CEC from Dec, and your file has been approved and waiting for COPR for the past few months, I suggest sending an enquiry! Sending you alllll the best as you wait!! It will come!!!!

congratulations !

Cant believe this is the pace they work at. What is the use of lockdown if services like immigration can't operate. Or it is just a case of lethargy I wonder.
The wait is killing for outlanders !

Did my re-medicals on Friday. Does anyone know when it will be cleared with IRCC? How many days will it take to show up on my profile?

I have created my IRCC profile in May 2019 and My AOR is 19th Dec 2019. Since May 2020 everything is Passed and there are no GU after that as well No Final Decision is yet made. So while creating my profile I have shown the details of my bank Account for proof of funding.

So my question is, that money I have kept for more than 2 years now, is idle there. Can I invest that money somewhere else like a Mutual fund, is it ok if I remove that amount and invest it somewhere else, or does it will affect my final decision? There are no additional documents needed as of now as per my GCMS notes and profile. I talked to the customer care at IRCC and they said everything looks great, but don't know when will the final decision will be made.

I have invested so much of my time and money into this process, It is just frustrating at least they should have approved the application till now.
Please let me know your input if anyone has done anything like this?

Can anyone tell me where we can see the validity of our medicals in ircc profile ??

You can either send a webform or give them a call if you can pass through. Do you know if your file has been approved? They made the final decision on my file in August and it's been sitting there for the past 6 months waiting for them to generate COPR. I explained that to them and the agent was kind enough to see all they have left to do was click publish and my file would be complete and I would be out of my misery :) Two weeks after, they issued my COPR!

I'm not sure if this will work for outland though because of travel restrictions etc ...

The PoF have to be shown when you submit your application, as well as when you land in Canada. Also, the PoF should be readily available to you, and not be subject to market risk / fluctuation. Any investments in stocks, mutual funds, real estate, etc. where the money will be subject to market ups and down cannot be used to meet the PoF. However, you can definitely put the funds in a fixed deposit. Just make sure that you keep the transaction record so that if IRCC asks for an updated PoF, you can show that you meet the 6 months average requirement.
