I am May 17th AOR with 2 dependents and I passed all stages on January 27th 2021 . I haven't received COPR yet.
What steps will be carried out from All stages passed till issuing COPR ? . My file got processed @ VO Ottawa and the file is still in VO Ottawa .
Does my file needs to be transferred to local VO to get copr ? or Final decison and copr can be issued from VO Ottawa ? why there is delay in issuing COPR though I passed all stages 35 days ago . Can you please provide some clarification /details . Appreciate your help .

I just heard today that FINALLY my medical is passed! Didn't end up receiving a PFL, they accepted that my MS drugs are below the threshold for inadmissibility and moved on.

Thanks @legalfalcon for the guidance on how to get medical GCMS notes, that made a huge difference for me and my lawyer in understanding exactly what has happened. Turns out they actually did the full medical assessment in April 2020, before I even got AOR. They had used the information from my panel physician regarding my medication and assessed that it is more than the average canadian but that the temporary public policy of 20k/yr threshold can be applied to my case.

This means that the weird "medical - passed" entry in the comment notes when eligibility was accepted by the officer in july 2020 was not a mistake. That was the officer acknowledging that the temporary policy applies. But somewhere along the way someone failed to actually set medical status to passed, so it was hanging open.

I am relieved that I am now at the "everything passed" stage, but I am super annoyed that I SHOULD have been at this stage in early december when biometrics was accepted. If someone hadn't made a mistake earlier in the year. Maybe I could have been approved back then and saved the cost and effort of BOWP application, not to mention the drama of stress during implied status....

Yes, I have received COPR.
Just want to help if anyone’s having issues downloading the copr letter/acknowledgement, try different browsers.
Edge and chrome didn’t work for me, Internet explorer did.

If you are issued a COPR, i.e. without a PPR, effective that date you become a PR, and all existing visas and permits you have are cancelled since as PR you do not need visa to work or visit. You will not be able to travel on your WP, you will have to apply for a PRTD.

Quick question on this . Is IRCC issuing PR cards right now ? Also for COPR are they using the photo uploaded in the file during online submission or we are required to send any hard copies of the photo ?

If all stages are passed, a final review will be done to ensure that all passports, medicals and other documents a valid.

A PPR can be sent form any VO, with the instructions to send your passport to the VO in your country of residence. Your file need not be transferred to the LVO. However, in some cases it may be transferred to LVO and then the LVO issuing you a PPR.

There are many applicants who have the application in this stage. You will have to wait.

If all stages are passed, the GCMS notes will not be of much use, since you already know that your application has passed all stages. Many applications are on the same situation as yours, where all stages are passed and a COPR has not been issued. GCMS notes will not provide you with any information when the COPR will be issued.

Unless the travel restrictions are eased, COPR will not roll out, so it is better to wait.

Lately, IRCC did issue some COPRs, and as more vaccine shots are administered, and restrictions eased, more COPR will start to roll.

You should be patient and just wait.

Yes, PR cards are being issued to all new PRs. If you are inland, you will be asked to submit a photo online or mail one at the address provided. If you are entering canada from outside to land as PR, you will be asked to provide a physical photo to the Border Security Officer at the Port of entry which will be used for the PR card.

The photo you submitted online, is not used.

Happy to hear that everything turned out well. Application processing is very technical with lots of laws, policies and regulations. Mistakes do happen, and as long as they are rectified, that is what matters.

Does this actually matters right now? Some have passed everything since Oct 2020 but no COPR yet. Some jst did bio December 2020 and got PR Feb 2021. Let's just hope it gets to our turn. It's really frustrating

Yes it does.
I have been lingering at the same stage since October.
Maybe just a little glimmer of hope.
But you’re right, Nothing much can be done other then sitting, hoping & praying!
