Online citizenship test completed, waiting for next steps

I took the online test on Feb 15th, and passed. I didn't receive any post-test email notifications like some others on this thread.
I was going to contact IRCC when I noticed by ECAS suddenly shows Decision made. However, no indication of test invite email or test results in my ECAS.

Went straight from FP request to Decision made. IRCC taketh and IRCC giveth.

I hope the Decision made is approved, and my test results were received.

My timeline:
Application received: Aug 2nd 2019
AOR: Nov XX, 2019
FP request 1: Dec 20th, 2019
FP request 2: Dec 20th, 2020 (expired).
Test invite: Jan 28th, 2021
Took test: Feb 15th, 2021
ECAS shows Decision made, Feb 27th, 2021

I hope so. The status changes in ECAS are so strange. Sometimes, you get an email and there is no record on ECAS, and then ECAS shows status and you receive no email. You take a test and no record in ECAS, no test taken email.

And then there is Decision made, but we won't tell you what the decision is. /facepalm.

Based on my recent observations:
- there is no update in ECAS for online test invitations
- there is no update in ECAS for online oath
- the next update you will see is after the oath which shows you became a Canadian citizen on date xx.
Decision made is 99.99% approval, it’s safe to say that. Now you can just sit back and wait for oath invitation. Congrats on that!

It is showing as inprocess
Since 17 February 2020.

Hello thank you so much for ur response. She immediately submitted her pr card through webform explaining she forgot to take pr card pic. Yeah fingers crossed lets c. Hope for the best. When did ur wife write the test?

she wrote the test on February 2, 2021 and passed with 19/20. Still no update yet.

Hi All,
1) During the online test on 11-Feb-2021 (I passed with 18/20), I click the link which CIC send to my email and once I click the link another tap open. That mean in the google chrome browser, There are 2 taps. One is my Gmail tap and the other is online test.

After I answered 2 or 3 questions, I notice that I still need to close my gmail tap (I don’t want CIC to think that I am cheating) and for this reason, I try to close during the exam. Once I click another tap to close my gmail tap, there is 1 message pop up something like you are leaving the current tap or something like that.

2) Moreover, I have my laptop and my big screen LG curve monitor is attached to my laptop. My HD Logitech web cam is attached to the LG curve monitor (my laptop webcam is not a good resolution). Before the exam start CIC only recognise my Laptop default webcam (not the logitech web cam) and I took my IC and my photo from the laptop webcam. Once the exam start, I am answering the questions on the big LG curve monitor for 3-4 answers and I noticed that my face is facing big curve screen instead of laptop webcam/laptop monitor. That why I drag the web browser back my screen back to my laptop (I don’t want CIC to think that I am checking another monitor) and continue until the test finish on my lap top screen instead of LG curve monitor. That mean now i am facing laptop webcam now as CIC only can access to laptop webcam.

Do you think above 2 issues looks like Am I cheating for CIC? I am worry although I am not cheating and I don’t want CIC to think cheating also. I am a urgent applicant (app sent on 14-May-2020) and as per the other urgent applicants timeline, suppose to get DM within a week. Today (1-March-2021) already 11 working days and my ECAS still showing in process (I checked 5 mins ago).

I understand your concern. Unless there is anything wrong you wouldn't get any communications from IRCC. Just be patient and wait for further instructions. If they do, unfortunately, suspect you cheating, they will let you know about the next steps.

Hi BadGamer6, thanks for the message. Hope CIC don’t think I am cheating. That why my idea for future applicant for online test to make them very clear,
1) use only laptop and don’t use external monitor and external webcam,
2) whatever how many taps open behind, do not bother and concentrate on the test until finish.
let wait and see until CIC communicate back to me.

Yeah they should definitely be more specific with the guidelines. But consider online testing is still a pilot program, it will be improved over time. All the best to you.

As per the urgent application timeline from another applicant, only take 2-5 days from IN PROCESS to DECISION MADE. Agent cant confirm as it takes up to 3 weeks and She said after 3 weeks, if there is no change in ECAS to DM or do not receive any other information from IRCC, that means they said they will let the local office know to move forward another step. I will keep you all posted. Finger cross.

There is a lot of speculations going on with the timeline after the test. I have seen people finished their tests from Dec/Jan still waiting for any communications, and at the same time I've seen people's status changed to DM in just a day. In the meanwhile I think you should just have some patience, and see what happens this week. As I mentioned before, @his*marty 's status changed to DM almost 50 days after the exam so no one has any idea what is going on exactly. However it is concerning that they did not receive the passing result and it's been 20 days. I hope you will get some updates soon.

The agent is from the Nova Scotia office and looks like she will send an email to notify Surrey, BC local office and mention that I passed the online test on 11-Feb-2021 and there is no update, I think something like that. But need to wait 3 weeks after passed the online test.

And also she confirmed that her office email received my test result pdf file on 19-Feb-2021 which I email to them. I will keep you all posted.
I heard Surrey office is one of the slowest office and the most immigrant files in the whole Canada. Let wait and see.
