for your spouse, you reply back on mail from which you received the appoint details with letter. Give all the details as you gave while scheduling your appointment with a request to schedule your spouse's appointment. VFS will schedule and will share the appointment details on you mail itself.
Alternatively, take your spouse along with you at your scheduled slot, enrol her for PPR premier service by paying INR 3050 in cash and they whill give you the immediate slot for your spouse. (this is what I did)

The thing is that I did not receive any email because my Biometrics have been registered automatically from a previous visa application I had which is not the case for my wife. That’s why i am asking if the process for cec and outland FSW is the same. I am just wondering if her biometrics are needed at this stage since IRCC did not request it??

@legalfalcon I just realised that my work reference letter is missing contact details of the company. My AOR is 31 Jan and MEP 16 February. I submitted revised work reference via web form on 23 February. Should I be worried that my application may fail the R10 check? Ircc is taking long to reply to webforms so I'm not sure if they have received my document. It's too early to order GCMS notes but do you have any suggestions on what I can do? Application is FSW Outland.

R10 is only the completeness check. It does not get into the substance of the documents. Also, the R10 is done in the first 30-45 days and if your Medicals have passed, then most likely your R10 is passed too.

If any requirement of a documents was missing, you can send a replacement document. The substance of all documents will be checked during eligibility.

i too have the same. It’s been 5/6 days since i gave biometrics. It should change in a week - this is what I got to know from others.

It happened to me, last year. If you searched here in the forums, this situation happens on a small number of applicants. My biometrics number showed up in my application right away after giving it but bio section still says “we have not received your biometrics”. If you see your biometrics number, there’s no cause of worry as IRCC has received it. My biometrics didn’t flipped to completed until an officer went in and marked my criminality as passed — this was 7-8 weeks after I gave my biometrics (timeline could vary on a number of factors). For some applicants, it didn’t show up as completed until they received a decision in their app — approved.

I paid it too. Not sure why they collect these fees now. They said that the passport handling would be quicker and trackable when we get the PPR. In fact, everybody in my batch paid the premium fee.

This option is not on the WebForm. They will explain this to you in person. They charge around Rs.2000 for Normal Service and Rs.3050 for Premium Service.

Premium service provides you with 2-way courier service for passport, tracking and a complementory VISA spec photo.

Note that they accept only cash or UPI payments, no cards.

Yes, you still have to pay the fees. They will explain it to you when you visit them.

Yes, they are collecting this fee at the time of issuing you a token when you enter the VFS office. This is in addition to the biometric fee we paid at the time of eAPR.

I'm not sure where exactly this premium service starts, is it right from the biometric enrolment or only from the PPR. Because after submitting my biometrics, I was seated in a premium lounge where you will find free snacks and drinks.

About passport handling... Once you received the PPR, your passport must be submitted to the Canadian Embassy in New Delhi for visa stamping. This is where VFS is involved again, they will coordinate to collect and deliver our passports.

I booked in hyd on same date. When i called the agent,he told ill be receiving in 2-3 days
