Anyone knows about the refugee shelter in Toronto? What is the living condition?

For these shelters, how many people stay in one room? Can people have their own private bedroom?
Most likely you would not get your own room. People generally sleep separated by dividers.

What do you mean by dividers? It's hard for me to imagine. Do you have any pictures? Or where can I see what they are exactly alike?
I want to attach a picture which I found from the internet, but don't know how..

Look at the first photo in this article. This is one example. This example has no dividers.

https://www.thestar.com/news/gta/2019/11/10/they-came-here-as-immigrants-now-theyre-giving-back-by-leasing-a-huge-property-to-the-city-to-house-refugees.html

It could also be something like this but with low, non permanent walls separating the beds (i.e. dividers).

Is it like the second picture in the article below?
https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/toronto/more-to-offer-than-to-take-as-toronto-races-to-manage-a-surge-of-migrants-a-refugee-claimant-speaks-out-1.4677288
I am intending to make a refugee claim in Toronto, But I don't have money. So I would be put in a shelter like this, right? Normally how many people sleep in such a big room, do you know?
Yes - that's a good example.

I don't know how many people are in one room.

Thanks for your reply. It is so disappointing that I can hardly accept the fact right away. Are you saying that for refugee claimants without money, we can only stay in such enviornment, right? I thought at least we can have our own bedroom, with shared bathroom and kithches. But the reality is completely not, right?
Another question is , to apply for the social assistance, Ontario works require refugee claimant to provide their UCI number. Typically only after eligibility interview, can people get the number. But from what people say in this forum, the elibility interview may not happen immediately after they make the claim. Then while they wait the interview, how could they sustain themselves?

buddy Canada let you in when you don't have nowhere else to go, and now you're disappointed that you couldn't get your own private bathroom and kitchen? Are you serious? It's up to you to get a work permit and work your ways off! Nobody is forcing you to come here lol, You should be thankful that you're given a chance, a work permit and an opportunity. Life is not easy!!

It's not your job to judge people. She/he/they had a specific question and your only contribution (if you want to make a contribution) is to answer their specific question. No judgements. And yes sir, people have the right to be worried when COVID19 is hitting asylum seekers right and left, with no basic protection, or no possible support from the government to have our work permits in time. People have been waiting for a year to have an eligibility interview.

why are you even talking about hate? and how I am really judging he/she/they? Covid didn't only hit asylum seekers, it has impacted the whole world, and left out families starving to death! And even in this situation, when every other country has turned their face down to asylum seekers (Even VISA), Canada is still doing its best to provide everything possible. And let alone appreciating, you can't just be disappointed! and a fact is not hate, if you think it is hate then you're really mistaken!
