Just to be on safe side I should go for PGWP? Correct?
Honestly, I don't know how IRCC operates.
We are cash cows for them.
Me and my friend are almost in the same boat as you (PNP inland), and we applied for BOWP.
I called CIC beforehand and the agent told me I am eligible to apply either BOWP or PGWP.
I assume you could try either way that makes you feel more comfortable

About cash cows ...

In 2018-19 IRCC made around a $14M profit processing the passport applications of Canadian citizens while it lost $678M processing immigration applications and $86M processing temporary residence applications.

The 2018-19 $678M loss in processing permanent residence applications ballooned in 2019-20 to $1.060B loss. Revenue was essentially the same.

Hi @legalfalcon
We are living in US right now. My finance (Indian) has FSW AOR March 2020. He submitted everything and now just waiting for decision.
My employer is planning to file for my greencard next month. Im Vietnamese so there is no current wait. If we get married so that employer can sponsor both of us, does he need to go back to the pool and score will be recalculated?
Both fc and pr takes time to process. We would love to file for both if that’s possible. Plus, nothing is certain so we want backup plan.
Thank you

I received GCMS notes today.
The status is exactly the same as the last one I ordered 5 months ago.
Elegibility passed
Criminality in progress
Security not started.

So frustrating

Does anyone know what might be the reasons we might be asked to re-do a medical? Is it more dependant on age?
I had to redo mine because the first medical expired during pandemic closures. I did the 2nd medical 6 months ago, and haven't heard anything since. Hopefully they'll extend the validity of my 2nd medical. I've now done 2 medical exams within 14 months of each other and passed both.

If the family composition changes after the the application has been submitted, the family member added is not subject to eligibility assessment. However, the family member will have to be assessed for medical, criminal and security. So no score recalculation is done.

Was able to get in a call with IRCC today after trying more than a dozen times over the last week.

AOR: Mar 6th
Medical: Passed on Mar 12th
Eligibility: Passed on Aug 13th
Biometrics: Oct 9th
Criminality: Still in Progress
Security: Not Started

So basically my file hasn’t been touched since Aug 13th.
Almost the same but guess what my eligibility is still pending.
AOR: Mar22nd
Medical: Passed on May22nd
Eligibility: reviewing
Biometrics: Oct 2nd
Criminality: Not started
Security: Not started

I have applied for GCMS notes already (almost 2 weeks ago) and no replies to me webforms either.
AND I applied for BOWP on the 17th Feb and I got it today on the 19th Feb but valid UNTIL June 18th 2021

Your BOWP got approved in just 2 days? Wow that's really fast.
