Work Experience as consultant for FSW

Hello,

I'd like to know whether we can claim points for work experience that one acquires while working as a consultant(software) for an organization? The organization is willing to provide the reference letter stating the same. I'm asking this question, since this isn't a full-time employment and I wasn't sure if one can claim points for this work experience.The organization is also paying the consultant for the service they're providing.Does this count as part-time work experience or does this come under the category of self-employment and we can claim equivalent points to a full-time position for the FSW stream?

It can can count if you have a reference letter with duties, salary and time worked. If it is part-time, it is calculated as such.

Thanks for your reply. The employer is ready to provide the reference letter stating that. They said they would mention that the person was working as a consultant for 40 hrs/week. But since the employee isn’t a full time employee with the organization, my question is whether we can still use this experience for FSW class.
