hi all, I just called IRCC the agent was very helpful and nice she said file open in progress. It looks "fantastic" she said we don't need any documents. Security is complete. Just be patient and wait for visa office to contact you.

I see how they are skipping some of the files and then move with else.This is irritating they should follow atleast a pattern it is unfair for some people to just wait for more than 8-9-10-11 months and then people after them get the approval.more wait they have to redo their medicals so it is harsh we are going to these things but it does no seems logically and ethically right.It just depreciate my feeling for now getting PR even I get in one day or in 5 months after this

I still havent got ... completed 2 months ..not sure why do they park few requests and grant few others

I saw the timelines in your signature and they match exactly with mine. My application is a joint and my spouse gave the biometrics last month only. Wondering if that can cause the delay.

Before the points system and express entry, they did, and it could take 4 years before processing started. It was also all paper based. Are you sure you want to go back to that?

I was trying to call them since yesterday, but something that I noticed new was the automated application status on IRCC call centre was going like this, your application was received on July 03,2020 and to serve you better, we will now transfer your call to one of our agents.
Rather than saying We are reviewing your eligibility and all stages as usual.
Today, the agent confirmed that your application was approved yesterday and you will receive the COPR within few days from your local Vancouver office.

“Congratulations “ Same here i'm july 04 everything passed on February 1, 2021 . and I have to wait for an officer to make a final decision.

Before the points system and express entry, they did, and it could take 4 years before processing started. It was also all paper based. Are you sure you want to go back to that?

Ok.Good to know. But this express entry is only express for some.

Nope. I've never, ever received a GU. I wish I would then it'll give me hope that someone has finally picked up my file after many months.
