Hey guys has anyone had issues with their application being moved back and forth between VO offices?

for my application it’s seems to be the case. First they say it’s in Lebanon in then they say it’s in Beijing now they are saying it’s again in Lebanon. I don’t understand What the reasoning for all this back and forth is . The sponsor approval said Lebanon then the confirmation receipt for a document submission said Beijing and it was also confirmed Beijing on the phone now the confirmation reciept for a second document submission says Lebanon again.

I truly do not trust or understand what IRCC is saying this is just becoming ridiculous. There is no persistence or movement with our application. It feels like a game.

Any ideas? I’m a March 20th, 2020 applicant

Well atleast your file is moving. My file hasn't even reached any Visa office yet. Hopefully will get an update by 2030

Lol. It’s a process for sure. It’s hard to understand why and what IRCC does. I may be more ahead in the process but I’m not done. I will be requesting GCM notes to get a clear idea of whats going on. If you haven’t done so maybe you should request them as well. You are still stuck the AOR stage?

Yes still stuck in AOR stage. How do we order GCM notes and are they helpful?

The GCMS notes are $5. You can either apply online or by mail. Applying online is faster. Processing time is normally 30 days. The notes are helpful but only experienced person can make sense of them.

I am appalled to see this happening. People from March did not get any AOR yet. and Applicants from Nov/Dec are getting files moved to Local VO already.

This is really bad and heartbreaking.

Combination of Unprofessional people working in Broken organization

Ouch. A little harsh.
How? I am happy to see some families reuniting faster, but shouldn't applications/backlogs be processed on basis of file receive date ?

How is it ok to process applications at par with 9 months difference in between

It is going by Nationality of the Principal applicant. Some people are getting processed faster while others are left in the dark with no updates at all!
