I am reading all these horror stories about the Montreal centre taking months to send out the PR card. Don’t know when to expect ours. Has anyone recently got theirs in 3 or so months? What is the latest timeline?

My husband had to leave for emergency to Mexico on Jan. 17, same situation no PR card yet by then, as soon as he arrived to Mexico we sent the application and documents requested to the email provide by IRCC website for PRTD, then on Jan. 25 he received passport requested letter, he sent the passport to the VAC in Mexico city, (VAC in Mexico only open for passport requested), passport received by the embassy on Feb. 1st, then Feb. 8th process finished passport sent back to VAC, VAC sent passport to my husband Feb. 9, received on Feb. 10th. I will say total process around 3 weeks, but also depends in what country you are traveling.

By the way, we got PR card approved and mail on Jan. 26, PR cards received on Feb. 1st, shipped PR card to my husband in Mexico received by him on Feb. 5, by then PR card in hand but no passport, what a messed but finally all good and coming home tomorrow.
Our office for PR Cards was Edmonton.

I received my CoPR letter back in June and already renewed my SIN number with it, but I'm still waiting for my PR card. My question is, has anybody in the same situation changed jobs? Did the employer accept the CoPR letter as PR proof?
