Same boat here my friend. I got COPR December 2nd 2020, expiring may 11th 2021. I do not fall under any of the travel exemptions categories.

Honestly all I want from IRCC is a clear cut answer on what we should do. If the official answer is just to wait no matter what , then fine. But the information in the official Canada website seems a bit confusing at times. And I've heard of some people going there and successfully getting in. So yeah.

Exactly, just tell us, wait, even if the doc gets expired.

Some have travelled successfully n some returned successfully. But its a chance to take.

Hi I got COPR 13 of January, I was paper base applicant, my sponsor was my first cousin, he is now citizens,now can apply for a AL for travel authorisation? I saw a family class F7 relatives document is helpful. Is it correct?please help, thanks

Will COPR expiry in MAY 2020 and multiple webforms, still have no update on my profile whatsoever. Not even a straw has moved.

Got new counterfoil on Jan 7 with 27 Feb expiry like few others. I'm still waiting for AL. Are there others like me , despite raising webform?!

Me too- Counterfoil updated on Jan 7th, Feb 27th expiry, no AL yet.

I understand the link refers to those with expired copr/ppr.
There is no right or wrong way here.
While some raised a webform and requested for extension, they have been granted the same, with or without remedical, updated counterfoils and then there also are a few who have been raising multiple webforms with no clear response.

Most of us do have the same question. Do we just let the COPR expire Since we cannot travel? But if permitted to travel, are you ready to relocate now?

Good to see someone with familiar username.

I would suggest to wait till 15th Feb and if no AL is issued then raise another webform and call IRCC help centre.

I called up the customer support center today @ 1-888-242-2100

The agent informed me that the officer who issued the counterfoil has put on record that the AL was issued on 7 Jan!

So gave the agent my email-id again, and requested her to put a note informing that it needs to be re-sent

I would recommend that everyone who's in this situation of having received counterfoil on 7 Jan with 27 Feb expiry, to get in touch with them on call and request them to highlight this asap

I still haven't received my AL, but it did seem reassuring that in the coming days before its expiry there might be a chance!

Hello Guys,
Please I'm in a bit of a quagmire situation here and need your advice.
I just landed Calgary and in Day 5 of my quarantine and plan to hit the ground running as soon as I'm done with quarantine. But I'm trying to apply online for my
i) SIN
ii) Bank account
iii) Phone line.

The issue is to get SIN online, I need proof of address in my name which can be bank statements/letter or utility bill which I have none.

Now the 2nd issue is to open a bank account online i need a valid Canadian ID which I also have none until I get my Pr card which the immigration officer has told me can take up to 2 months to come through the mail.

So does this mean I have to wait for my Pr card before I can start applying for these things??
