@Canaspirant xyz @whyCorona

It felt so nice to see your landing after all these unprecedented times...

Just wanted to ask, how smooth was delhi immigration? Did they ask anything regarding the authorisation letter?
Yes airline officials did check AL while checking in the luggage and Indian immigration officer while stamping the passport. CoVID negative report was also checked.

They are aware of AL so they did not ask any irrelevant questions about AL.

Landed at Toronto today around 5 am! (Air Canada direct flight from New Delhi to Toronto)

Immigrations went smoother on both sides India & Canada but there were long queues.

Canadian immigration officer asked basic questions regarding my profession, quarantine details e.g. address, how many people are staying there. No proof of funds was asked (but it depends upon officer to officer). New CoPR was printed out by the immigration officer as I was travelling using AL with expired CoPR/PRV issued prior to 18th March 2020. AL was checked while boarding and also by immigration officer at Toronto.

Covid negative report was verified while boarding and at Toronto. Mandatory covid test was also done at Toronto (free of cost).

For people travelling or planning to travel in next few days, I asked specially the immigration officer that when hotel quarantine rule will be implemented and he told me that he will be the last person to know about it. :/

Best of luck for your travel and stay hopeful!
Dear Bro I got AL for my family today I need some suggestion from you. They are planning to fly from Bangalore is it a good idea to take a connecting flight Frankfurt Germany or take a direct flight to Toronto from Indian airports? Kindly help me out . Thanks in advance.

Hi @ssi1990, I'm also planned to fly from Chicago. Which airlines did you take? I was looking into Alaska Air but wasn't sure about their experience with expired CoPRs with ALs. This is a really helpful post in my case.
Hi @nrthstr1202

I flew with Alaska airlines. It was a good experience, no hiccups anywhere. The crew was aware of all the Canadian COVID related protocols and asked us for all the relevant documents. They were also aware of the AL/expired COPR cases.

Dear All,

Finally arrived in Canada. Sharing the experience. Got my AL in late Dec. I flew with Qatar Airways and the flight from Doha to Montreal was full. Immigration was smooth. They diddnt asked me for proof of funds, or a quarantine plan. The whole process took around 15 minutes. Just asked me if I had a place to quarantine and that I'll have to spend 14days in quarantine and can't leave the place except in case of emergency.

Congratulations on your recent landing @ssi1990 and thank your for reply. That's good to know that crew was aware of our situation. Since you flew from Chicago, I also wanted to ask where you had the PCR test done? I'm a bit nervous that the result may take more than 72 hours.

Hello, good folks! Please help me out.

I got COPR on Nov 19 and it expired on Apr 20. I haven't received any communication from IRCC. I had raised few webforms but got only generic replies.

Now they are saying even webform can't be raised. Is there any way to contact them. Processed through NDVO.

Please share any info that you might have
