I have got passport stamped but didn't recieve LOI.

My flight is on 10 feb. I haven't recieved LOI. There are so many threads going on in this forum which say this letter is not required. Please let me know If I can travel without it and get student permit? I am already attending classes online. Any lead will be helpful.

Pretty sure it would be needed. Have your counterfoil details been updated in your gc key account?

No, we rescheduled our flight. We got that letter in 2 days after mailing immigration office. I got to know from my friend who went 3 days before to Toronto Airport that officer asked her about that document. So, I didn't travel. But I am not sure what will happen if we don't have this letter while travelling as I haven't travelled.

My brother is enrolled for 2 year program in cape Breton, he did his online classes from india since jan and he did come canada today. on POE he got visa for only 6 months and the officer told him he will need to extend it. does anyone else went through the same thing at POE? he did his POE in Toronto. any feedback can be appreciate, Thanks
