Study permit processing time in India reduced to 9 weeks

I noticed that processing time in India shows 9 weeks.

I am wondering if this processing time currently relevant to this present situation

Are the decisions being made faster now?

I think it's less than 9 weeks for newer applicants... Why would the government lie?

What abt the applicants waiting since Jan 2020. Doesn't make sense if they don't clear the files in sequence. Corona is not the one who troubled, this visa waiting is more dangerous than corona..

I heard they are clearing most recent applicants first, and slowly working on the backlog of older applicants. Not sure though.

Hopefully that's not true, the older applicants have been waiting patiently for quite few months now, no other country in the world delays study permits for this long.

seeing the PPR is coming whole files are lodged in 2020 and biometrics was in dec 2020

it is Trudeau fault. He is anti indian
