Yes, If your NOCs falls under essentials your file is boosted whether you are inland or outland (AFTER COVID-19, before that all NOCs have same weightage). Some cases are here to conclude that some 2020 applicants are getting MR and eventually will get DM very soon.
Hm I don’t think it really matters whether you are essential or not. I am an essential service working as RN in BC but my PR process is the exact same as others. On the other hand, my closed work permit did get approved in a week which was super fast.

My bad. You are really essential in Medical and why they didn't see ur PR file and give you super fast closed WP? but you are lucky (because of NOC(ONCE AGAIN ESSENTIAL)) for it because you can see some WP applications having 3-6 months are pending.

Did you attached representative form in your application? If yes then he will get AOR email not you . Also you can’t link your application online on Gc key if your representative is on your file . All communication will be sent to him .

Same here.
I am also a front line worker but obtained my closed WP within a week. The closed WP required a lot of info and support from the employer (mine was LIMA exempt) so the verification process could be faster.

I only know in this stage, Hongkong people will get prioritised in the paper based PR application as stated in CIC website.
We can confirm there is some sort of prioritising algorithm from seeing some people their processing time is dramatically shorter than most of us (some that even close to the EE which only took a few months after AOR), but not necessarily base on NOC. It can be region that the applicant live in, original nationality, or combination of many, etc.
As we collect more data, we might able to see their algorithm. @bbjeon38 did a really good job on collecting/sorting data. Thanks.

Yes, it could be. I am a HongKonger, and my wait time of AOR is similar as other members. I am living in Canada currently so the officer might considered I am safe.
I would like to add myself to the spreadsheet but it seems like I do not have the permission. .

No same as you. they said both hasn't started.
Oh, I see. I worry about eligibility. Why did we have MR so fast? Because of eligibility? CIC changes the sequence between medical and eligibility?

I got my AOR with a request to submit biometrics. I am from India and biometrics for PR application is still on hold. VAC is processing biometrics for student/work/spousal but not for PR. Do I need to wait still biometrics open or there is any way out?
Have patience... I’m waiting since October... In india too.

No idea tbh what they are upto. from what i can say for timelines similar to us, DM should not be far but then at the same time you never know what happens next. lets see. did u get any GU or glitchy GU so far?
