Can Self employment showed as a employment ?

Hello, I have a question about self-employment in foreign experience. Currently, working in Canada. My friend and one other fellow had a private corporation in a foreign county. My friend held one position in the corporation and received salary and filed taxes as well. He showed as work experience in the student visa application. Now under Express entry he is going to put as a foreign experience in order to claim additional points. Should select as a self employment or list as a work experience??.

Another partner wrote him a detailed LOE, who held a senior position in the corporation.

Any suggestions are appreciated. Thank you in advance

Self employment is worthless. Cannot be used as experience. Hence, you should go with employee.

For CEC, self employment in Canada doesn’t count for work experience. That was the question.

If someone does not work for anyone including any company but as a self-employed as NOC clearly mentioned it's possible
what Docs are needed to prove it for a book author ?rather than

• ISBN
• Registration
• Physical book
• Contract with publisher
• All needed Permissions

what else?
