I received an email reply today. They have the same usual COVID-19 story.

The only information about my case is as below

''As for the application itself, all Verifications have passed.''

Can someone please tell me what this means for all verifications, is it mean background check and criminality???

He's not, he's just optimistic. He initially projected all 2020 files would be finished by December 2020. It's alright to be optimistic but don't put too much weight in what you see posted here.

Look if not for this new strain of Covid, it probably would have came true. Now with new outbreak in UK and new lockdowns, things have slowed down. I was betting on Covid remaining in very low numbers and things getting back to norm.

Just pointing us that all VO's are not the same. Which is dumb because if London is so jam packed, why not send our files to ottawa for example? I've seen some Indian applications go there.

yep unfortunately they use Covid excuse. Imagine you had a job that you had to read people's applications and boring marriage stories for years on end every day. You will get burnout, so they are happy for any excuse to slow down. now they can sit home, grab a beer maybe open an application while watching Netflix, read 1 page and enter it BF'd- all in a day's work...
