I don't think posting on twitter will help that much. We need someone working in the government to back us up. That's what spousal sponsorship has. Jenny Kwan (MP of NDP, Liberal's critic) has been backing them up since last year and kept on voicing out their problems on the past parliament meetings. Though they are now accepting applications, caregivers are not on their priority now based on what I read. It would be awesome if anytime soon they will look into our applications. I've been waiting for an AOR since March 2020. This is so depressing but we can't do nothing but to wait especially 2nd lockdown is in effect.
That's why it's also important for employers to contact their MPs as they can help more to reach out to Mendicino.

I also tried to reach out to Jenny Kwan but I'm not under her constituency so I doubt that she will respond.

I appreciate that you did that.
I hope they could listen our concerns.

Let us know if you hear from Jenny Kwan.

Your timeline is very similar to mine. I applied Aug26, Aor was Oct15.

I’m sorry this is happening to you guys. I applied in June 2020 and it’s frustrating for me so I can’t even begin to imagine how you feel. Hopefully you will get some good news soon. Are you currently on implied status then?

Ircc didn't ask additional documents and also employer's interview. I just got eligibility letter at 15th January 2020.
I hope we will have a good news soon.

Yes. I am in implied status and working. As you know, I can't go outside from Canada after that all processing will be done. I know at this hard time, I shouldn't go travel, but if this program stop everything like this I can't go even though after Covid19 will be finished.
