Hello all, i've been trying to find a thread that answers my question but wasn't able.. do your profile gets locked when the representative you are using starts working on it? or do they work on a separate portal and your profile remains the same? will you be able to see the updates while your representative is working?
 
Licensed immigration consultant or lawyer have a different portal from an unlicensed individual. They will submit your application via their own portal.
 
Also, you won't be able to see any updates since it's not very likely they would give you their account information.
 
thank you. but will your profile gets updates while they are working? and will i be able to still log in or i lose control over it?
 
You still have control over your own account. But since they submitted your application via their "paid representative portal", you can only depend on your representative for any update.
