Just wanted to check in as I still haven't been able to connect and link my application online.
I sent my PR Spousal application by mail and it was received on August 17th, 2020. Is it uncommon for me to still not be able to connect my account??
I sent it with a Bridging Open work permit application.
I am currently living and working in Canada on an IEC Visa that expires on March 20th 2021. My concern is if I still haven't heard anything back by this date do I need to stop working? Will I have implied status? I have read contradictory information on this and am left feeling very confused. And also concerned if I have to leave the country due to covid reasons making that more difficult.

Yes - it's normal not to be able to link your account. It's taking many months these days for IRCC to open and start processing applications.

Just to be clear, I assume you applied for an OWP and included this in your inland spousal sponsorship application (not a BOWP). BOWPs are for economic immigration programs.

Yes, you have implied status provided you applied inland and included an OWP with the application.
