Aor2 back in August. Like the email came that day. The line changed in ECAS to in process on October 8, 2020.
Nothing else since.

I got pre arrival on 9th December. After that no news. Sent webform also though nothing.

For UAE applicants they should transfer to Abu Dhabi office. No movement in London office since Dec coz of Covid..

Yes, you can request for a file transfer but it's highly unlikely to happen. Firstly, it's up to the visa office to decide whether or not the file needs to be transferred. Also, as for Abu dhabi visa office, I don't think they are capable of handling PR processing. They only do things like work permits, TRVs etc.

Yes, you can request for a file transfer but it's highly unlikely to happen. Firstly, it's up to the visa office to decide whether or not the file needs to be transferred. Also, as for Abu dhabi visa office, I don't think they are capable of handling PR processing. They only do things like work permits, TRVs etc.

Abu Dhabi office also issues PPR/COPR for UAE and a lot of Gulf countries.

Yes you are right but issuing PPR is not the same as processing applications. PPR is issued when a decision is made and COPR is the travel document you need to show at the port of entry. To get to this stage though the file needs to go through a lot of stages which Abu Dhabi doesn't handle.

Good to know this information. I guess we need to wait then since the covid situation in the UK is not good.
