Overstayed in UK for 1 month after application for rejected

Hi there,

I had tier 4 work permit visa till 28 March and I had applied for tier 2 visa before the expiry. I got a rejection on 3 April 2014 and after that I contacted Ukba over telephone and submitted application through post mail. They did not reply back on mail. On the telephone they just said you will have to submit fresh application But I did not apply again, then finally I decided to leave the country on 4th may.
I have a letter which says passport will be handed over on the airport once I check in.
Now I am planning to apply for Canada PR. Will this scenario affect my Canada PR application.

No it won't be an issue, just make sure you declare it on your application
