Hi guys,

I'm filling my forms and there is some informations that need more explanations and write in the box is not enough to explain.

per example, we are a gay couple... and the question ask if their family and friends know about our relationship and the answer is Yes and No, because some relatives know and others don't... I need to explain the context about his family and don't seem that we are lying.

Is it okay send a letter of explanation attached in those cases?

thank you

Sure. Anything that you think should be cleared, should be addressed with letter like that anyway.

This is a pretty common issue - IRCC deals with this all the time. A letter of explanation should be fine - just keep it brief and to the point.
