As an Alberta PNP, you have to be careful.

As per Alberta Immigration:

All candidates who have lost their job after submitting an application to the AINP, regardless of the date they applied, as well as all nominees, will have up to 6 months (180 days) from the time their application is assessed to find employment that meets AINP criteria. Candidates must meet employment requirements at the time an application is submitted or mailed. We will advise by email when an application is put on hold. This change provides more opportunity to meet AINP employment criteria and extends the time to find employment by up to 4 months for candidates and nominees. Previously, nominees and select candidates were given up to 60 days to find qualifying employment.

Was your medical extended anytime? They asked you for re-medicals before extension or after extension?

It also applies to outland who claimed Alberta PNP based on job offers in Alberta, and if the offer was withdrawn, then they fall under this.

HI. Do you have any idea how IRCC decides the applicants to re take medical tests or extend the medical results? My AOR is 16th Jan and approved on 31st Jan but still no news. I see the updates at medical part in the application part is that "You do no need medical exam. We will send you a message if it changes".

We are in same boat. AOR 13 JAN , medical expiry is 29 JAN. Exact same status for me and my family. On one hand they are not processing applications efficiently leading to BIG delays in the processing time , and now they are asking for re-medicals ? Its ridiculous !!
Why should one pay $1000+ for re-medicals for their mistake ?
