Thankyou @legalfalcon
Most applications are experiencing delays. This is largely due to IRCC experiencing massive backlogs and operational difficulties due to COVID.

It all has to be do with IRCC and the processing delays at their offices. In the recent meeting of the Parliamentary Committee on Immigration and Citizenship, the deputy minister has acknowledged the delays. Also, recently additional financial resources have been allocated to IRCC to tackle COVID.

Another reason is that many applications are pending approval as even if the PPR is issued, you may not be exempt from travel restrictions.

We appeared for our medical on Dec 30, 2019 and as per GCMS notes, its validity was till 3-Jan-2021. However, I still haven't got any update on my profile and medical still shows "Jan 27, 2020 You passed the medical exam."

So, it's definitely a positive sign in terms of movement in your application. If all goes well, you might get an extension without needing remedical.

Small update. Just checked my account and saw that medicals expired today. I guess it automatically expires after the validity date.

Anyone left for PPR - AOR January 2020?
Mine background check is still in process.
We are going to hit the 12 month period soon.

Me.. findec is approved but no PPR in sight. Hitting 1 year mark in 3 days.
Requested for GCMS note and today I received the time extension notice. Sigh... very disappointing!

I think a lot of people are left for ppr including me. Gcms from june 2020 says ready for approval. Since then, file not touched. Medics expired on 1 dec, 2020, no news on that as well.
My aor jan 20, 2020

My medical status changed from you passed medical test to "you do not need medical test. we will send you a message if this changes". Any signal for Passport request stage?
AOR 16th Jan 2020, Medical passed 31st Jan 2020.

Yes Jan 29th, still waiting.. no sign of PPR anytime soon.
AOR 23 Jan, still waiting..
My gcms notes says
Eligibility: passed
Criminality: passed
Security: blank
Final decision: blank
@legalfalcon need your advice - would it be OK if I resign the current job? Will it have any effect on my application? Because I had received an email in the month of May saying I should inform the program officer in case of any changes in my employment until a decision is made on my application. ..
I am PNP applicant.. Been struggling on the job and this wait for any decision has been really frustrating.

Have you uploaded any document in your profile after remedical or raised any webform?

No, I haven't. The panel physician will submit medical results to IRCC for assessment.
