I guess this would be helpful for you

The biometric instruction letter (BIL) has been amended in GCMS. It now advises applicants that they have 90 days from the date of the letter to give their biometrics. Despite BILs instructing applicants that they have 30 or 90 days to enroll their biometrics, they are not required to enroll their biometrics until biometric collection service points reopen. Public messaging on the websites and social media has been updated to reflect this extension.

Applicants are advised to keep informed of the status of local biometric service points and to keep their original BIL, as it will be required at the biometrics collection point once service resumes.
Saw your timeline in signature section. Just wondering if your eligibility is in progress or passed. Because of a lot of Sep/Oct AORs eligibility is being passed now a days.

Hello guys, need urgent help as soon as possible

I have applied under CEC.
I received an ITA on 20 August 2020 but my 1 year should be completed in September 2020. So in short, I got ITA 19 days before my 1-year completion.

But my AOR is in October 2020.
I am very worried if there is any problem with eligibility.
What should I do now? I need expert advice.

Current status: Medical passed, Biometrics done.

You should be good as your AOR is October.
Thanks for your response.

According to my reading on other groups also, there is a mixed response.
That ITA is a system generated and there might be a 1 month difference in work experience like mine. I got ITA on 20 august 2020 but my actual 1 year should be completed on 9 September 2020.

Hope everything should be good.

Got request for RPRF today and submitted now. The question is that I just got it for me and just saw the upload tab in my list of documents, not for my spouse. I paid 1000$ anyway for both of ours RPRF and uploaded the receipt in my section of documents. Should I be worried?

I think you are not good. In short, you should provide a correct information about your application on all stages:

Keep your profile up-to-date
You must make sure that the information in your profile stays true and accurate at all times.
When you filled Express Entry profile, you pointed there that you already had 1 year of Canadian work experience which gave you many additional points to CSR score. But in fact you didn't have them. AoR date means nothing in this case, the only date is ITA. They invited you according to your CSR score which in fact wasn't that one. And I think it also affects your eligibility, because CEC stream is only for those who has at least 1 year work experience in Canada which, in fact, you didn't have.

p.s. I'm CEC inland as well, so I had investigated this question before created my EE profile.

guys, just one question, would security be initiated aways after eligibility is passed or security could well start even before eligibility is passed?

Thank you folks!
I’ve definitely seen personal experiences of both instances on here so I guess it depends

And I think It make sense to get ITA, because if we count 1 year as an experience, it should count as September to August.
Like we have in normal calendar, From January to December.

Also Does IRCC counts number of hours(1560 hrs) in a year. Does it calculates 40 hrs/week or 30hrs/week?

But still need suggestions

I will neither agree nor Denny on your statement but seems like there is some information missing. As what I know is for example August 2018 to July 2019 is considered 1 year and that's the reason you get an ITA and alternatively you have 60 days normally and 90 days due to covid19 to apply. So to be satisfied you can always submit with in that time frame as when the officer receives the files (AOR) is normally what they would check.

So you agree with my message?

Best wishes to you. I didn't want to scary you or something. In my understanding 1 year means 1 year. For example, if you started to work in Canada on September 19, 2019, your 1 year is completed on September 18, 2020 and you can go to EE pool on September 19, 2020 and be chosen some days later.

Sorry, I don't know how exactly IRCC people consider such cases, but to be on a really safe side one year should be fully passed.

At the time of ITA your profile should meet all the requirements for CEC. If you don't meet those requirements then it's always better to decline than to submit misinformation and risk rejection. From what I know declining an ITA doesn't affect any future chances
