Hi,Wait for any update seems to be much longer for us. COPR expired on 1st April20. Raised multiple web forms and received generic replies.
Also opened GCMS notes without any inputs.
Still anyone hanging from April20 and waiting for AL/Remeds?
Try to raise GCMS notesHi,
Same for me & my wife. Our CoPR expired 20th April,2020.
We have raised multiple webforms(ready to travel). Haven't even got the 4 pointer mail which everyone has been getting.
Even tried contacting IRCC Delhi on Social Media, but all in vain.
This is very discouraging and depressing for us.
I'm not even sure if we should get our re medicals done proactively. There has been no contact from IRCC whatsoever. Now they are not even responding with their generic replies.
If anyone else is in the same boat or has any solid suggestion for people like us. Please help.
Yeah, Its a 7 Pointer email and it says that you have to go for re-medical and the application will be open.....It must be written in the email that you need to go for medicals for further extension if you can not fly before 1st April. Your application will remain open.
Is it a 7pt email?
Thanks for this, yes you are right. It wasn't clear as I am not sure if this is going to the last chance to get the extension. I will however reply to tell them I am not ready to travel by the given date unless i have absolutely no other choice.
I'd get it done at a good testing lab.. SRL and Lal path labs are good in India..Wow! One more hurdle. Could you please confirm where in India are these tests are conducted and how much time does it takes to get the result?
I am no expert but my advice is to respond with all relevant information. I too got the email but can't say for sure how my suggestion would work outDear Expert,
The validity of my CoPR had expired in Oct'2020 and I could not travel because of the covid situation around the world.
Recently I got any email from IRCC to confirm if I could travel before 1st April 2021 and reply to the email. Unfortunately I cannot travel to Canada right not as well because of Covid risk and restrictions.
It will be a great help if someone can reply my few questions.
1. Should I reply the email stating that I cannot travel to Canada before 1st April 2020? I am asking this because the email say that "Reply if you can travel before the mentioned date"
2. Is this the lsat chance to get the extension of my CoPR?
3. If I am ready to get my re-medical done in future, will I be granted the CoPR extension again?
Kindly suggest what should be my move in this case, as I am strictly not able to travel before 1st April, I can only travel once the situation related to Covid gets better.
It must written in the email that "only reply if ready to travel before April 1st". If it is not written tell them that you are not ready to travel now and will go for re-medical.Yeah, Its a 7 Pointer email and it says that you have to go for re-medical and the application will be open.....
You wanna say that there is no need to reply to the email if I am not ready to travel before mentioned date?
SRL is taking 48 hours to deliver the results and the airline needs the test validity of 72 hours. Know of any labs that deliver results faster than that?I'd get it done at a good testing lab.. SRL and Lal path labs are good in India..
Hi Krishna,Hello,
Happy New year.
I am Krishna, CEC (inland) applicant with AOR on Oct 24, 2019, and my spouse is also on the same application, but she is in India. We received a 7 point questionnaire (regarding my spouse's ability to travel in 60 days) on Dec 17, 2020, and I replied to it on the same day. We are awaiting for AL.
Spouse re-medical request: Dec 17, 2020
Spouse re-medical passed: Dec 23, 2020 (updated in GC account)
My question: @legalfalcon
My (Krishna) passport expires on Jul 26, 2021. So, the 6-month validity cut off Jan 26, 2021. I was not able to apply earlier due to a bridging work permit. I am planning to apply for the re-issue of a new Indian passport.
I will have to provide new passport information to IRCC, as India will cancel my old (current) passport. Will it delay the process? (to your knowledge) How much of a process will it be for updating a new passport to PR application?
I appreciate any help you can provide.
Krishna
