Hey any applicant here who applied from the US and heard back? Specifically where your case is with Edmonton VO?

I applied on the 21st of July and haven't heard anything since :/
 
Yeah I'd assumed that since avg processing time is 16 weeks as per IRCC website.
Do you know if i can apply for GCMS on my own since company lawyers filed the application? Or should i request them to do it?

You can apply for GCMS within Canada only. However there are sites that do it for you. GetGCMS is one such. But exercise caution. I applied through getGCMS, its more than 40 days and I have not received anything.
 
I received my approval for WP today evening. Surprisingly it came on a Sunday evening. My timeline is
Application: Sept 19th, 2020
Biometric: Oct 2nd, 2020
Applied from: USA
Citizen: India
Biometric Correspondence Letter and WP Approval: Dec, 13th 2020
