The documents that you have submitted, does that mention average balance on it. If not, did you submit the bank statements for the last 6 months?

Hello Everyone

@caipsnotes @legalfalcon
I have a question,My AOR is April 2020 and I have been maintaining funds in my Checking account from 6 months before AOR to Current date. However my funds went below the required amount for the month of August 2020 and September 2020

For the month of August and September I had funds equal to 14500 CAD which is below the required minimum 16,135
However Starting October 2020 I had more than the minimum funds

Note: My Overall last 6 months Average balance (Sum of Closing balance at the end of each day / 180) is 17000 CAD
and my overall last 12 months average balance (Sum of Closing balance at the end of each day / 365) is 18000 CAD which are above the required minimum POF
  • Current Balance: 20000 CAD
  • 6-Month Average Balance:17000 CAD
  • 12-Month Average Balance:18000 CAD
Note: During August 2020 and September 2020 I had Stocks worth 2000 CAD which i Cashed out and moved to my bank account in October

Could the decline in funds for 2 months be an issue if IRCC asks me Updated Bank statements in the future?
I maintained the minimum funds for every month except August and September 2020
Appreciate your help Thanks
Hi. You should be fine if you met the requirements at the time you submitted the application.

This should work. Just wait for the officer to mark your eligibility review as conclusively passed. I do not see any concerns as your document states avg balance for 12 months and you have also provided 3 months statements.

No need to be worried, and if IRCC needs any further documents, they will contact you.

Thanks a lot for your time, one last question, Will there be a problem if they issue an ADR for POF in the future and ask my detailed bank statements and notice that my funds went below the minimum required for 2 months?

I'm just trying to be extra cautious because my application was initially rejected and later on reopened because of some misunderstanding by the officer

There would be no issues as long as you can provide the source of funds and show that your have the funds available over the required amount.

My application approved in the month of April and this VO still using the word of pandemic and get halted of an application, whereas other visa offices processing the files and providing COPRs. EVEN THE ITAs OF outlanders of 2020 have been processed and they are landed in CANADA
My god!!!That is terrible. I has been waiting my COPR for more than 1 month, it is already killing me. I cannot image how difficult is for you. Is there a way to can contact the office, your case is very extreme I suppose.

Hi @legalfalcon @cansha
I sent my passports to Ottawa in October but no response till date.
An agent told me that since my medicals are expiring on January 12th 2021 they cannot print my COPR with less than 3 months validity.
To proceed further Montreal office has to either extend or request for new medicals.
Any idea on the process? Will they look into my case only after my medicals are expired in January?
Waited 16months for PPR from Montreal office, I’m super stressed if this is also going to take forever.

In most cases the medicals are send for reassessment and are extended. If not done so, they will be.

Only after your medicals have been extended, your cOPR will be generated.

Hi all and @legalfalcon ,

My VO is Montreal Immigration office. My GCMS had a Recommended Passed with a note mentioned by an agent about pof. I addressed that point with an LOE and some more proofs.
Webform reply when I asked about status BEFORE I sent an LOE and proofs was: "The eligibility review has been met." (criminality/security/medical currently valid)
Webform reply when I asked about status AFTER I sent an LOE and proofs is: "The eligibility verification is currently valid." (criminality/security/medical currently valid)

The second webform I raised was after a month after my LOE. Does this mean my eligibility has been changed from Recommended Passed to Passed?
I have ordered GCMS but its going to take another month or 2.

Thanks in advance!

Most likely yes, your eligibility seems to have been conclusively passed.

“valid” in webform responses indicates, that the documents required for the specific stage are “legal, not expired, and accepted by IRCC,” and no further input is required by the applicant.
