January 2019 onwards Paper Based PR Applicants waiting for AOR/MR/PPR

Hello everyone,

My AR is December 31, 2018. Almost 24 months and no DM yet. Last update was in January 2020 when IRCC requested a new Schedule A.
I called IRCC customer service few weeks ago and I was told the following:
Eligibility passed
Criminality passed
Security not started (????)
medical will be either re-do or extended as mine expired in September 2020
But it's unbelievable that after 2 years they haven't started my security check yet. I'm really tired of waiting. I don't really understand what's going with my application.
Anyone here with the same situation?

I am frustrated as well last update was feb 14 2020. Nothing after that. Added my spouse in my application but not seen any updates.

I haven't made any change since my medicals in Sept., 2019

Maybe its bcoz of medicals dont lose hope everything will be fine

I think time between DM and Copr depends on your local visa office
Bcoz i passed medical on same date 26 November

Spouse PCC outland oct 20
After that silence
Called in oct the agent said that in process and is in the final stage
Medical expired
Husband and kids outland
Applied through SINP inland

As I know, if your medical expired, it will change from DM back to in process.

My application status switched from DM to 'In Progress' this morning.

I received DM on Sept 2nd. After 3month with DM they switched it back.

Has someone experienced this b4?

Hlo my friend has a same situation like you he got his decision made on 4sep this year and today he has same updated as in process did you call cic because his medical has been extended his province is northwest territory and singe applicant

Hi guys! Question: after you sent application, AR is basically the fact that Canada post shows package was delivered to Sydney? Or we will get official email from CIC saying we received documents? I mean stage of AR, not AOR. I’m asking because I sent application last week, shows delivered and now I realized I should have added affidavit to translations! How can I send it now? If I wait for AOR, they will see missing document and just reject application. I want to be proactive and send it now (since I have it, just made stupid mistake). Any suggestions how can I do it? Since I don’t have application number I can’t use webform, right? So my only option left is to mail my affidavit (should I mail original or make copy of original and mail it)? I’m scared this can cause rejection and don’t want to wait for them to tell me when it’s too late... please advise
