Stamping for visitor visa

Hi,
My mother got letter to send passport for canadian visa stamping but np instructions on where to send. We went to VFS office in Hyderabad India. They did not accept taking passport for stamping and asked us to send to New Delhi VFS. She has already ticket to US in 10 days. We are wondering if we should postpone her travel to US as we don't know how long it takes for passport to get stamped and receive it. I see in forum to send email to VFS to arrange for both way courier to send to embassy for stamping. Can someone quickly tell me

1) email or phone number to contact to arrange two way courier
2) How long it takes for us to receive passport once we courier it
3) Any other information we need to know

Based on feed back we first want to decide on my mother flight ticket to US and arrange logistics as she is senior citizen

Thats strange. Usually they send passport request with details on how to courier it and receive it back. You can browse threads here and get in touch with people who have received passport requests.

May I know your application timeline?

Submitted online application in August 2020. Received email to send passport Nov 26th with no instructions but a link pointing where to send. It is Canadian immigration site with not much info anyway

Hello,

I am copying this response from another user from a different thread. It will help you. Also, did your mother have to submit biometrics with this application? Or did they already have her biometrics in their system from a previous application?

send an email to vfs that you mentioned above attaching your passport and passport request letter.
Then they will ask for the information like UCI and application ID etc and send them on that email again.
Then they will send you payment link make payment from your credit card once payment is successful send them reply on email that you made the payment.
After sometime they will send you the AWB number, Address and date of passport collection will be mentioned in the email along with attached consent forms and sms courier form, fill them and sign them and hand over the sealed package with all the documents they have asked to submit with passport to the nearest blue dart.
