Visit Visa for Parents! PLEASE HELP!! :)

Me and my husband are Canadian citizens and have a daughter who is a citizen as well. We want to apply for our parent's visit visa for them to visit us for a couple of weeks from Pakistan. We have a rough estimated income of around $70k.

Wanted to ask, how much funds should our parents show for visa application? and does it have to be in liquid case or real estate can be used as an asset?

We will be supporting our parents' expenses once they come here.

They should show whatever assets themelves. Be able to show that you can pay for your own travel costs is beneficial. The most important part will be showing that they have reasons why they need to return home.

Keep in mind the very long processing time currently quoted , 340 days, which would hope would shorten but for now that is what it is from Pakistan.
