I was also unable to check my full application status as well, though it has submitted in the status but it was bringing bad gateway error but its fine now. My VO is Hong kong

Hello,

@legalfalcon Please I need your advice.

According to the travel exemption information, I'm eligible to travel as an extended family member of a permanent resident (my brother is a permanent resident), but have to get authorization letter to travel. Also, I have a visitor visa valid till August 2021.

On the other hand, I applied for permanent residency with my AOR on January 4th 2020, still waiting. I don't know when the wait will end. That's why I'm considering moving to Canada by January 2021 on my visitor visa if my authorisation letter is approved. Is it a wise decision to consider? If I do, what are my options on getting a job and work permit for the time being? While waiting for the pr approval letter? Can someone on visitor visa get a job offer? I'm a data analyst. What if the wait for the pr approval lasts till my visitors visa expires?

I'm confused. If I move with my visitor visa and inform IRCC on change in address to a Canadian address, will I be considered an inland applicant?
Will it fasten a decision being made on my PR application? Will it send a wrong message or be a red flag to IRCC and affect my PR application decision?

If I receive my PPR while in Canada, where will I send my passport for stamping? In Canada or home country prior to moving?

Please help me answer my confusing questions. Thank you

You can surely move to Canada on your visitor's visa. However, you cannot work in Canada on a visitor's visa.

After you move to Canada you can update your address via this link:

https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/immigrate-canada/pr-confirmation-portal.html

Irrespective of whether you are inland or outland, it does not matter. If you are in Canada, then you will get a COPR and effective that date you will be a PR.

Only if your are outside Canada, you will need to send your passport to get a PR visa to travel to Canada.
