Sydney Visa Office has been issuing PPRs from the last two hours. GUs are no more considered as "glitch" anymore.
Hope so. But i got GU in all my applications..PR..BOWP...Visitor record extension for family and even the previous approved application..so just hoping its not a glitch.

Hi Guys, Need help with our applications.

We got COPR Feb 2020 and it was valid till Sep 2020. Due to Coronavirus, we were not able to do soft landing and conveyed this message to the officials through web form and they suggested that we don't need to worry and when we are ready we can contact them back. Me and my wife are both in H1B visa with expired stamping and considering the issues with US consulates as well , we postponed our plan for next year.

I read through this forum, people with expired COPR receive, a 4 pointer email which I did not received and also my application now cannot be opened and results in bad request.

Can some one guide us what would be the next steps, we are still hesitant to do a hard landing right now as out plans to travel to CA was mostly in late 2021. Is contacting through web form is the best option and wait for the response?

@vjexpress2019
Was your bad request issue solved, even I am getting the same
@Fasiuddin - Now it seems to be working fine, there might be some server issues which I encountered.

Hi guys, a question for you: Got a CoPR and with it this letter (on my CIC account): - question first - so basically i should send my photos and this letter to that address and ... PR card will come ?

"Dear ...:
I am pleased to advise you that your application for permanent residence in Canada is now complete. Congratulations! You are now a permanent resident of Canada!
If you are currently outside of Canada, do not attempt to travel to Canada. Please contact us immediately at the following address and we will send you additional information: CIC-Winnipeg@cic.gc.ca.
This letter constitutes an official document issued by the Department of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada. You can provide a copy of this letter to prove that you are a permanent resident of Canada and to apply for benefits and services for which you are eligible, until you receive your permanent resident card.
This letter does not replace the permanent resident card; you are still required to submit the documentation to obtain your permanent resident card. Please print a copy of this letter and send it along with one photo that meets our photo specifications to the address listed above. Please ensure that you write your unique client identifier (UCI) and name on the back of the photo. You do not need to sign the letter nor the photo. If your address has changed, please provide us with your current address."
Congratulations!

Yes, send the photographs as well as printed copy of the documents you received. Make sure the pics are as prescribed. Assuming you are in Canada, please visit nearest photo centre at Walmart, Costco, Superstore etc and let them know it is for PR Card - they will accordingly affix date stamp.

Hi, My husband and I have expired COPRS. It expired on 25th april 2020 and we raised multiple web forms after. We received a re-medicals request last week and we got it done right away. So far the medicals are not updated in our system and we are seeing no changes. Is anyone facing the same issue and is there anyone who knows when will we get the AL?
Many others are in a similar state of progress. Infact there are so many who are still awaiting re-medical requests or even re-medical IME forms. In that sense your application is in good progress.

With large scale re-medicals in progress, IRCC can be expected to take longer timeframe for processing those medical outcomes. I would not expect response in two or three weeks.

You are so close to the finish line though. :)

Best wishes!

My Corps for my family (5 persons) expired Feb 2021 n I want to land now...how should I ask ircc for exemption?
Certain exemptions apply. Job categories, emergency/essential workers, blood line relative and few others are still welcome. And travelling for permanent basis is allowed not for temporary period of time. Please consult the below pages:

Also dont forget to take advantage of this, if you are able to:

Hello Everyone..
I logged my 2nd webform exactly one month ago and I have not even receive a generic reply for that. This happened to anyone else? And anyone has an idea about this? Much appreciated.

Hi. The best possible option would be to call and check with them if they've received your request for ready to travel or not. Call IRCC.

Hi guys, got my CoPR dated 14th November 2020. I am willing to settle permanently in Canada. I’ve been in talks with couple companies but can’t get an offer letter until I have my PR. What do I need to do to be exempt from flying? I am from Australia and have written authorisation from the government to fly out. Applied for exemption but got rejected as my CoPR was not issued before 18th March

You answered you own question. If you get approved after 18th March you are not allowed to travel yet. There are exemptions only if you have a family member in Canada or you are currently living in the US. All we can do at the moment is keep waiting and hope they change the travel restrictions soon for outlands who have had PPR.

Hi All - I've already completed my landing last year and have been living in the US. I also have a PR card. I now have a job offer in Canada and am planning to drive from the US to Canada. While the IRCC websites indicates that citizens and PR's are allowed for non-discretionary travel (moving permanently and settling in Canada with a Job offer would be non-discretionary I guess?), the ArriveCAN app does not really provide an option for this. It only provides an option for exempt individuals (cross border services) or other classes of individuals (like relatives of citizens/PR's, asylum seekers etc).

Has anyone had experience moving permanently to Canada (from the US) during Covid restrictions? Should I be expecting trouble?

Hi Friends

As per GCMS note, My medical is extended until Feb 2021 and my application status is Decision made but not received PPR yet.

Please advise, whether it is the best option if I take re-medical and submit it to IRCC in order to extend my medical date?
when we submit medical without IRCC requesting it, whether my application again goes to in process or it will remain in Decision mad status.

I am exploring options that will help me to get a longer validity period of PPR so I can plan better.

here anyone had re-submit medical without IRCC request and they updated medical date on CIC account.

Thanks
