Welcome to the Dooms day then. Lets see this as an end of an Era in canadian immigration. How bad it may sound, but in last month or so, Canada has literally toyed with the FSW candidates
Deep down in my heart, I still want to believe it is just a glitch :(. Standing at 473, thought it was a good score

Even if it is true, I just hope there are separate CEC draws just to make sure FSW still has a fraction of a chance.

They can create a new category for the mass (Non Canadian) and just have those in few of the draws

My profile hasn’t been updated yet. Hope it reflects.

the points system has become extremely unfair to people with Canadian education & experience. However to be fair to everyone, I think they should do cec draws & fsw ones.

Two years waiting, and now, I reached 470 to see IRCC give CEC candidates 15 and 30 points. Fuck this. I will redo ielts to try and fetch 6 points and then I am out.

Yeah man, I totally get their intention to get more Canada educated people in. They could have just had separate draws for CEC and FSW instead of this change. The dream is crumbling for a lot of us. BTW, hope you get in soon.

I've waited for 2 yrs . AT 475, Even gave up OINP too, which I realized is a blunder, anticipating an FSW ITA. Never have I ever thought that IRCC would be this wildly unpredictable. Just hopeless.

Hoping it's a glitch, Otherwise it will be really tough for outlanders with score under 472-475. Correct me if I am wrong but I think with French speaking points & Now this Canadian education points the average scores of most of the candidates will be around 475-480(There will be more profile above 480 now but still average will be around 475-80).

If it's not a glitch then the scores won't come down to 470s is what I think. Since there will be 1000s of Canadian graduates who will get these additional points and may jump to 480+ scores, it will be hard for outlanders to compete with them from now on without adequate French skills.
