Should I order gcms every month? that way I can have the most up to date information about work being done on my file...does it pee them off in London if you order every month? Or is it done digitally from Canada so the agent in London isn't bothered?
..also how long does it take now for gcms?
Any thoughts?
Have you previously ordered notes? Has your ECAS changed to "in process" or is it still on "received"?

through out my process i never ordered notes, I just asked them once about my application after the 1 year mark passed. I think you should just be patient and let them do their work.

if thats true, then yea order the notes it should be fine
yeah pretty sure about that, I was just reading thread
https://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/threads/gcms-notes-well-explained-has-never-before-until-now.390292/
The expert said he ordered his notes every 2 months.
I'm pretty sure that lvo does not involved in gcms processing and it just gets digitally pulled from the file GCMS, or Global Case Management System, is a central integrated Canadian worldwide database of immigration files.
I think you can also order a copy of your whole application if you didnt photocopy it, or you lost it, etc.

I think gcms notes get done by the "gcms guy" inside Canada, he just plugs your ID into a computer and prints out the notes. LVO is not involved.
Ordering once for your satisfaction would have no harm. But I ordered 20 days after my ecas started saying "in process" and someone with experience here on the forum suggested that I should have waited two months or so after the " in process " . And my notes when they arrived were actually of no use. Cause they only had the info I already had. So ,yeah ... The rest is upto you. Do let us know what they say if you order.
