Dun worry I have ordered 4 GCMS notes and many contacts with them (once every 10 days simply because they wouldn't answer my emails).
Yesterday I got my GCMS note and see that my application has been approved.
That post you see is about something else (not sending different pieces of docs in multiple emails)
soo many thanks!

Well, they're talking about sending multiple emails with info for extended family reunion applicants. I have sent them webform on weekly basis and have ordered GCMS notes every month since last June since they didn't bother to keep me updated.
thank you for your reply~just hope we can get ppr asap!
of course hope ircc is still working on fsws

1) they might extend ur medical considering ur application has been approved or they can ask u to re take ur meds. Also, they could even send u a ppr and ask u to enter before 24th Feb.
2) IELTS scores gets locked when u upload and transmit all documents. So no prob there.
thanks alot!! It was worrying me a bit. Any news on travel restrictions. Have they extended it to the end of November yet or not?

Border restrictions have been extended for US borders. I presume the same would be for international borders and travel redirections too unless certain other exemptions are granted. But let’s wait for an update by the end of the month.

With so many PPRs issued over the past two weks its only logical to think at least a certain type of exemption is on its way.

Dear @legalfalcon I have another question if you don't mind.
I investigated my GCMS note further and I could see that CoPR section has been generated in it. It says "status: not started" under the document issuance. It also says "Issued at: CPC-Ottawa" under the counterfoil section.
I have two concerns right now.
First my medical is valid until 26th feb 2021 and because of that my CoPR is valid until 24th Feb 2021. What if I don't received the PPR email in time to make it to Canada before it gets expired?
Secondly my IELTS exam will expire on 26th March 2021. Will that in anyway affect my application now that it has been approved?

Thank you so much for your guidance in advance. Your answers are very helpful.

If your medicals are about to expire, IRCC will send them for reassessment to the Regional Medical Officer (RMO) who will make a determination on whether to extend them to ask for remeds. You do not need to get re-meds done until asked. Also, before the PPR is sent, the officer will check your medicals validity. The medicals have to be valid also when you land. If your meds are expiring, they will be reassessed before he COPR is sent.

Your IELTS only has to be valid on the date when you submit your application. If it expires after your have submitted your e-APR, you need not worry.

So for around two months right? Did he/she mention anything about new exemption rules maybe?
I didn’t ask so now he wouldn’t tell. Exemption rules could happen but because of covid maybe not just yet. Also to those who don’t know, my friend is a doctor and covid has mutated since it’s started so there’s “European covid”, “Asian covid”, “North American covid”. So those got NA covid might get covid again if someone from Europe flies to Canada and infects a person, because North Americans haven’t experienced that covid. So this pandemic isn’t going anywhere for a while, especially if borders open. It’s the same thing all over again.

So what were they doing issuing so many pprs recently. I mean if these expire then isn't it going to add more to their backlog?

Unfortunately I don’t know how the IRCC operates. Only an IRCC officer or employee can answer that question.
