India PCC from Toronto

Hello everyone,

I applied for PCC and received my File Number on 13th September,

As of today, its still showing processing at consular. I did ask my friend to visit the respected police station; however, they weren't able to give a clear explaination. They said we are having a trouble connecting to the internet.

I'm not sure what I need to do. I need to apply for my AIPP application soon.

Please help,

It will change to PCC has been printed in 24 hours. Same thing happened to me today. Cheers

How long after the police verification initiated email does the cerification take place? I received the email on oct 10. My mother has visited the police station twice since then and they say they have not received any information with my details yet. Status on portal 4: under review at indian embassy, BLS site: processing at consulate from oct 5
It was a postal application to BLS surrey

My status has been updated from PCC under review to PCC application has been granted.Police Verification has been initiated. After the police verification report is received, PCC will be available for issuance.

The Police had already submitted clear report on 28th August.

Why this status is updated ? Please help me! Thank you.

My PCC story incase it helps anyone.
Applied for Tatkal passports to add spouse name on both mine and my husband's passport on Sep-10 and received the passport on Sep-21. It was a walk-in application.
Walk-in application for PCC submitted at BLS Brampton -- Sep 24
Status changed to "Passport under review at Indian embassy" and CAT number generated -- Sep 25
(https://portal4.passportindia.gov.in/Online/index.html)--Portal to check status
Police verification initiated mail -- Sep 30
Verification done at local police station -- Oct 1
(The police called my parents number provided in the application and asked to submit aadhar, passport copy)
Status remained "Passport under review at Indian embassy" -- Oct 15
Contacted RPO office (Vizag) and sent an email saying about delay in pcc -- Oct 15
Got reply back from RPO saying police report is clear and PCC will be printed -- Oct 15
Status on portal "PCC Printed" -- Oct 16

Is it mandatory to have spouse’s name on passport for PCC

My timeline so far
28 Sept: Walkin Application at BLS Toronto
29 Sept: Processing at CGI
30 Sept: File number starting with CAT generated in portal4
2 Oct: Police verification initiation email and done verification on same day
Still nothing shows up in portal1 or portal2.

UPDATE

15 Oct: PCC application is granted
16 Oct: PCC is printed and in transit from Consulate to BLS
19 Oct: Dispatched from BLS
20 Oct: Delivered

So around 20 days if the verification is done asap.

print that and take all the required documents as per https://www.blsindia-canada.com/CanadaVisaCCT/Ottawa-PCC-checklist-June-2019.pdf then go to BLS Ottawa.

You are good to go. If you have ITA take that and also entry/exit stamp photocopies from passport.
