I believe tourists and outland PRs (with no family members in Canada) are now restricted from entering Canada. That’s harsh. Very sad.

Is there any news by when the mandate letter would be issued? Last year it came around 8-9 days after the throne speech.

Is this a new announcement ? Because tourists and Outland PRs are restricted since March 18th , only those who had COPRs before March 18 th made it to Canada, Canada registered the biggest influx of immigrants entering Canada since I don't now how many time, more than 11k landed in April alone.

Hello All, A generic query. For Indian residents, once the application is transferred to NDVO, will each stage(eligibility, background check, security, criminality) be processed or reviewed again fresh?
I am FSW-O and found out all stages are pass for me with the application at CPC office, Ottawa.

I wonder. Are people who live in US different than people from other parts of the world? How is it that over the past few days only people from US have been receiving PPR? Whats the difference for Canadian authorities?

That's what makes no sense to me, they have made some travel restriction exceptions for those from the US when other countries have been less affected by covid.
It feels unfair.

Did you see any posts indicating this? I haven't seen any. I'm currently in US and my AOR is March 17th. From my GCMS notes my application was approved more than a month ago but haven't received PPR yet.
