I am living and working in Canada with a W1 visa. after a few months, I will complete 12 months of full time working in one of the jobs listed for CEC.

You need to create an Express Entry profile and then score enough points to be selected / receive ITA.

Score matters. Whether you are selected or not depends entirely on your score. Selection is not simply based on eligibility.

You want to achieve a score of 470+ to have a very high chance of being selected.

According to the IRCC, if you have the skills and ability to contribute to the growth of the economy of Canada, you might be selected. Candidates who have higher scores and ranking in the Express Entry pool are sent an ITA or invitation to apply directly from the country.
