Thanks for reply.

That means the rule is threshold income for each year.

But overall final balance in bank will help to support family and parents.
It does not look into balance in your bank overall
The threshold is applied to every single year, for consecutively 3 years prior to sponsorship
You can apply, may get selected but will certainly be rejected automatically when the actual process start.

Hi all,
This may be a silly question but just for knowledge.

If my family income is little bit short in 2018 but for 2019 and 2020 it is exceeded.

Does IRCC consider my application if total income of all three years is higher than the total amount of minimum income requirement?

Thanks
I am sorry to hear you are short in 1 year.
The rule applied to every single year in which you must meet
Perhap next year you can be qualified and there would be more quota (30,000) next year...
Good luck

Hello, all

I am planning to apply for PGP-2020 (If I'm invited), Unfortunately my father's birth certificate is missing. What explanation supportive documentation I should provide?
will supportive documentation be suffice?

TIA

Your father's birth certificate missing would not be an issue if you are not sponsoring your grandparents.

Whatever the amount on the Line 150 on NOA would be the amount to be determined your income

So your income with your co signer income isnt it?

Hi i have one question if someone can answer please ..i am applying for my parents.

My income for 6 people including my parents is given below

2018--- 78000
2019--- 76000
2020--- i hope for 75000

Means i do not qualify for 2019. If my sister becomes co-signer to get eligible and my sister has 4 family members then do we have to qualify for 10 people means 4 my family 4 my sister's family and 2 my parents ?

Thanks in advance.

Ok if i increase 4k to 5k in 2019 income. Can you guys specify any pros and cons please for doing this in any regards?

Hi,

for income requirement does CIC will look into the total income or net income from notice of assessment? Am I qualified to sponsor my parents and younger brother (5 years old)?
Total Income
2018: 61,841
2018: 61,841
2019: 61,486
2020: 70,820 (Projected)

I am single and no co-sponsor. Thanks.

Hello all,

I am planning on submitting an expression of interest to sponsor my parents and my under-22 dependent sister next week, but I had some questions. I've been living in Quebec for exactly 12 months and my income over these past 12 months only just covers the minimum income for 2020 in Quebec.

1. Quebec counts your gross income over the past 12 months. How is the 12 month window determined? Is it the 12 months directly preceding submission of a complete application to IRCC? Or is it the 12 months directly preceding the submission of the Quebec undertaking application?

2. If I am invited to apply and submit a complete application to IRCC in, let's say, December 2020 but the notification to begin applying for Quebec undertaking comes in January 2021 - do I need to meet the 2021 minimum income or the 2020 minimum income?

Cons?
How do you plan to make the change to your income in 2019? Change it with CRA? Then you should make the application for change right now, as I heard some cases that it would take weeks to complete the change and get the new NOA (with updated income)
Also, you may have to answer questions from CRA as to why the changes. I am sure people from previous years had done it and CRA had learned the trick so it's tough to get through them
And the pros? If all is sucessful, you will be qualified to sponsor

Base on your info, your family size would be 4: You + 2 parents + 1 brother (under 22 years old)
According to this table:
https://www.cic.gc.ca/english/helpcentre/answer.asp?qnum=1445&top=14
You are eligible to sponsor for all of them.
Income is on the Line 150 of your NOA, gross income, before any deduction
