Did you guys submitted official transcripts? My college is not providing them due to covid and told us to submit unofficial transcript from college portal, is that fine?

Eligibility review 1st Oct

I'm sure everyone will get approved soon, good luck!
Congrats!

Lol I will stop watching my application like a hawk. I'll probably get a decision tomorrow, if they work on weekends, or on Monday.

An unofficial transcript is fine in this case. Just be sure to include a letter of explanation stating that your DLI is not issuing official transcripts right now due to COVID.

However, you should continue to keep tabs on your institution's policy on issuing official transcripts. If at any point during your application process the DLI starts issuing official transcripts, you should request a physical transcript, scan it when you receive it and send this new documentation through the Web Form.

This is what I did. When I applied for PGWP in May, my university was not issuing transcripts. But they started issuing them sometime at the end of June, so I requested a physical copy and followed the steps I described above. Hope this is helpful.

Did you at least submit a letter of explanation along with your unofficial transcript? As soon as your school starts to release official transcripts. you should request one and attach it via webform.

A friend of mine had similar issue back in May. He requested his transcript too early before the mark of the last term was finalized, so even the transcript was an official one, there is a note on it saying that grades for the last term are not official. He then requested an updated version of official transcript, submitted it in a webform along with explanation. He then got approved within two weeks since he gave biometrics a while ago.

Hi everyone, my PGWP application was approved today for three years. My entire timeline is in my signature Good luck everyone and keep faith! It looks like they are processing these applications quite efficiently now.

P. S. I'm "unwatching" this thread now. But if anyone has any questions about PGWP, feel free to send me a DM. I'll still be on the forums because I'm also in the process of applying for PR.

Applied May 3,
Eligibility review started October 1
Approval October 2
Any idea how long the document takes to ship?
Depends on if you're in urban Canada. I've lived in Toronto and Vancouver. After approval, I usually get my documentation within 5 business days.
