Hi, anyone here from May AOR who got exempted from biometrics and got an update on profile/account?
I am exempt as my bio info is appearing on my application since the beginning - however, the step still says that "we have not receuved your bio". I hope it gets there soon enough,

Hey Guys,

I am CEC-Inland and got my AOR on May 12th, just want to inform you guys that I got a call from Servicecanada for biometrics today. I live in Mississauga, ON
Good. You are lucky to be on first list. Service canada is calling Biometric required applicants randomly irrespective of their AOR date. I was at service canada center @ Mississauga 2 days back for my spouse's Biometric, one of the person with AOR date # May 22 told he got call last Friday and they are doing it randomly.

Did the agent tell you specifically that it was recommended pass or he just said it was in progress. Did you have to ask him if it was recommended pass ?

Hey everyone. On Sept 18, I found out that my eligibility is recommended passed (by calling IRCC), but it has still not been fully passed and it’s been almost 2 weeks now. Is this anything to worry about? I have seen from the forums that usually there is only a few days between eligibility being recommended passed and fully passed. Is this normal or a bad sign? Just getting a bit anxious now!

The agent specifically told me my eligibility has been marked as recommended passed by the case analyst.

All...my AOR is 26 May 2020. While submitting application, i did not have spouse India PCC and provided an LOE. So the application was hold till i provided the PCC on Sep 01 2020.
on Sep 10 - application was updated with MP, and BIL. Now states your action is required for biometrics.
However I wanted to understand..if the eligibility and any others steps will be done before i provide biometrics, or everything will wait till biometrics are done?
Did you raised webform to submit pcc? In how many days you got reply.
As mine case is also same as yours I was unable to provide pcc at time of application submission and provided an LOE.
Still waiting for mep and bil.

AOR : 27th july.
Progress bar appeared : 16th sept

@andy108 , can you please let me know if i want to update my dependents as non- accompanying from an application which is active right now obviously the reason is uncertainty over travel to Canada due to COVID and what the situation would be in next 6 months .

1) Will i get the refund of the application fees which was paid for my dependents.
2) I am in in-land in Canada and i am doing is this the best approach given the uncertainties .

What is your recommendation , i am at a stage for BIL request for me and my dependents ( they are in India )
Once they start processing your file, they will not refund your processing fee. Yes you are right, they are keep imposing travel restriction

(1/2) Visa Application Centres (VACs) across India will remain closed for the month of October, as travel restrictions on entry into Canada remain unchanged.

I just called. Agent told me nothing. He said what you see on IRCC site in your account is the most recent update.
I think it just depends on the agent that you get tbh. The one I talked to was super helpful and looked at all the notes on my profile and told me she can see a note that the first agent recommended my eligibility is passed and now it’s gone to the second review
